I have found a baby opossum!
Do any of the following apply?
- it has been in a dog or cats mouth
- It is bleeding or appears to have a broken bone
- it is covered in fly eggs
- it is cold, wet, or crying loudly
If the opossum is the size of a dollar bill, from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail, they are old enough to survive on their own and do not need any intervention!
